What should we wear for a family photoshoot?

Choose coordinating colors rather than matching outfits. Soft, neutral tones or earthy colors work great outdoors. Avoid busy patterns or logos that can be distracting. I’m happy to offer style guidance and help you plan wardrobe choices that photograph beautifully.

How far in advance should we book?

Weekends and golden hour sessions (sunset) book quickly, especially during spring and fall. I recommend booking at least 3–4 weeks in advance, or earlier during busy seasons. If you're flexible on timing, last-minute weekday sessions may also be available.

How long is a typical family session?

Most family sessions last between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the package you choose and the number of people involved. Shorter sessions are available for mini shoots or young ones with shorter attention spans.

What happens if it rains on the day of our outdoor session?

No worries! I always keep an eye on the forecast and offer flexible rescheduling in case of bad weather. Alternatively, we can move the session to your home or another indoor location.

Can extended family join the session?

Absolutely! Multi-generational family sessions are a beautiful way to preserve your family’s legacy. Just let me know how many people will be attending so I can plan accordingly and recommend the best package.

How long until we receive our photos?

You’ll receive a fully edited, private online gallery within 2–3 weeks. From there, you can download high-resolution images, share with loved ones, and order prints if desired.

Do you offer prints or albums?

Yes! Most packages come with a batch of free prints (4x6 and 8x10) and you’ll have the option to order more professional-quality prints, wall art, and heirloom albums directly through your gallery. I also offer custom-designed photo books—perfect for gifts or preserving memories in a tangible way.

Are pets welcome in family sessions?

Absolutely—your pets are family too! Let me know in advance, and I’ll help make sure they feel comfortable and included in the session.
