Meagan and Emerson’s wedding was a true winter wonderland experience, made even more magical by a snowstorm that added to the day’s beauty. Their February 15, 2025 wedding journey took them through some of the most beautiful venues in the area, including The Pearle Hotel, the Art Gallery of Burlington (AGB), and Spencer’s at the Waterfront. Each venue played a unique role in making their day unforgettable, and as their photographer, I had the pleasure of capturing it all.
Getting Ready at The Pearle Hotel
The day began at The Pearle Hotel in Burlington, where Meagan and her bridesmaids prepped for the big day. This luxurious waterfront hotel provided the perfect backdrop for capturing those intimate getting-ready moments. With its modern design and stunning views of Lake Ontario, The Pearle Hotel offered a serene and elegant setting to start the day. The spacious rooms allowed for beautiful, natural light to fill the space, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. As Meagan slipped into her gown, the excitement was palpable, and I was able to capture the emotions of the morning as she prepared to marry the love of her life.
First Look and Portraits at the Art Gallery of Burlington
Next, we moved to the Art Gallery of Burlington (AGB) for Meagan and Emerson’s highly anticipated first look. The greenhouse at the AGB was the perfect place for them to see each other for the first time. With the snowstorm swirling outside, the greenhouse’s lush greenery and natural light created an intimate and magical atmosphere. Their first look was filled with raw emotion, and the moment was nothing short of breathtaking.
Afterward, we took portraits around the AGB, making use of the gallery’s stunning indoor spaces. The modern architecture, vibrant art installations, and unique details of the gallery created countless photo opportunities. Meagan and Emerson’s chemistry was undeniable, and their portraits beautifully captured their love against the backdrop of the art-filled gallery. Despite the winter storm outside, the gallery’s warmth and charm made for an unforgettable setting, showcasing the beauty of their connection.
Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception at Spencer’s at the Waterfront
The day continued at Spencer’s at the Waterfront, where we braved the snow to get some more beautiful and dreamy pictures with the early snow of the impending blizzard falling. The couple as well as their closest friends and family stayed close to each other to stay warm and smile brightly.
Then after drying off and warming up inside, Meagan and Emerson tied the knot in a stunning waterfront ceremony. Spencer’s is known for its picturesque lakeside views and exceptional service, and it didn’t disappoint. With the snow falling gently outside, the ceremony took place against a backdrop of the stunning waterfront, creating a romantic and serene atmosphere. The intimate setting allowed guests to witness the couple’s heartfelt vows, making for an emotional and memorable ceremony.

Following the ceremony, the reception and cocktail hour took place at Spencer’s, where guests enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres and breathtaking lake views. Spencer’s is renowned for its elegant ambiance, and the venue did not disappoint. From the exquisite decor to the delicious food, the reception was nothing short of perfect. The evening was filled with laughter, dancing, and heartfelt speeches, and I had the pleasure of capturing every special moment.
A Perfect Winter Wedding
Meagan and Emerson’s winter wedding was the perfect blend of elegance, charm, and unexpected beauty. Despite the snowstorm, each venue provided its own unique backdrop, making their day unforgettable. From getting ready at The Pearle Hotel to their first look at the Art Gallery of Burlington, and finally, the stunning ceremony and reception at Spencer’s at the Waterfront, every moment was a testament to their love and the magic of winter.
As a wedding photographer, it was a true joy to capture the essence of their day. Their love story is one that will forever be remembered, and I’m grateful to have been part of such an extraordinary wedding celebration.
