A Cinematic Palais Royale Wedding for Liam & Tiffany | Toronto Wedding Photography Highlights

If you’re dreaming of a wedding that feels like a film — iconic cityscapes, a touch of mischief, and golden-hour magic by the lake — Liam and Tiffany’s day at Palais Royale in Toronto was nothing short of unforgettable.
As a GTA wedding photographer, I’ve had the chance to work at many stunning venues, but few locations offer the kind of atmosphere and visual variety that Liam and Tiffany chose. From the grandeur of the Princes’ Gates to the urban charm of graffiti alleys and the romance of Lake Ontario at sunset, this day had it all.
A Grand First Look at the Princes’ Gates

We started the day with a first look between Liam and Tiffany at the Princes’ Gates — a truly iconic Toronto backdrop. The sweeping arch, classic stone architecture, and perfect natural light gave us a timeless setting for their portraits.
The wedding party brought the energy and creativity:
- Liam and his groomsmen paid homage to The Beatles with a hilarious and stylish Abbey Road recreation — every detail nailed.
- Tiffany and her bridesmaids pulled off a pitch-perfect Bridesmaids movie poster look, filled with sass and sparkle.
This shoot had the perfect mix of elegance and playfulness — a reflection of who Liam and Tiffany are as a couple.
Creative Portraits Outside Palais Royale

Before the ceremony, we wandered to the pedestrian crosswalk just outside Palais Royale — covered in bold, urban graffiti. It gave the perfect edgy contrast to the classic feel of the day. We shot some dynamic road-crossing moments, then took a few quiet portraits of Liam and Tiffany against the textured city backdrop.
Outside the venue itself, the wedding party gathered for group shots, with the historic building and the lake just behind them. Every frame was layered with mood and meaning.
A Heartfelt Ceremony & Romantic First Dance

The ceremony inside Palais Royale was moving and intimate, with the soft natural light pouring in through tall windows and the soft murmur of waves just outside.
Liam and Tiffany’s first dance was a moment to remember — full of tenderness, connection, and a few joyful tears from friends and family watching on.
Golden Hour by the Water
We couldn’t have asked for a better golden hour. As the sun set, we stepped onto the boardwalk by Lake Ontario, just steps from the venue. Liam and Tiffany glowed in that soft light, sharing quiet moments by the water that felt like a scene straight from a movie.
These are the kind of portraits I live for — real, unposed, and filled with feeling.
